WTS - Trijicon TA50-2 compact ACOG*SOLD*

I have a Trijicon TA50-2 compact ACOG
Included
3x magnification with Amber triangle reticle and BAC.
A built in integrated carry handle base mount with a carry handle screw and washer set.
A LaRue ACOG compact mount for flat top mounting. (cost me $85.00)
Trijicon case, Lenspen, Tools, & Manual.

The ACOG is in excellent condition but it does have some typical cosmetic cracks in the optic collector(see bottom photo) no scratches to the housing and the glass is perfect.
It was produced on 06/07/02 and has been in my safe for the last 5 years.
The Tritium lamp lasts 20 years. Amber color is used in compact ACOG models because its brighter.

I am asking $650 $625.00 REDUCED TO $600.00 shipped w/insurance for the setup.

Close up of cosmetic optic cracks. I have 3 ACOG's besides this, a TA11, TA31, & TA44 and they all have the cosmetic optic cracks and have no effect on the optic. I'm not sure why they do this but most I have seen have them.

WTS - Vortex style Flash Hider and more

Actually those are Young Mfg hiders if those are straight, NOT vortex.
I had asked about that from a store and they were shown as YM for Young Mfg.

I'm really interested in buying your ACOG, but would like to know what the cracks in the fiber optic strip would do to the performance of the sight.

Does it affect anything? Brightness of the reticle pattern?

Please let me know, I have cash in hand and am willing to buy.

(it's actually not for me, but for a friend, but he'll pay me back).


Also, when you say triangle reticle, you mean the chevron pattern, right? Looks like this: " /\ " , right? (and illuminated at night with the color amber)

How would you compare the red vs the amber reticle? Is the amber just as visible at night?
