This is a complete upper that I assembled, and never fired. I think that I like building them more than shooting. Here goes:
1. Barrel is from PSA and is marked: 5.56 NATO 1/7 MP CL Palmetto. The PSA Rep at AR15-com told me (told everyone) that these barrels were made by FN and are not CHF. It's mid-length gas system. (I have 2 of these barrels).
2. The gas block is a BCM standard .750. I installed it after dimpling the barrel using a BRD (Black Rifle Disease) Jig. The gas tube is CMMG.
3. The hand guard or rail is a CMMG Key mod. I don't recall the model number, but it's about 15". The A2 flash suppressor barely extends past the hand guard.
4. The BCG came from PSA. Basic chrome lined BCG.
5. The upper receiver is a basic M4 type, 7075-T6, with the key hole forge mark. Anyway, it's a nice upper. $550.00. Near 29 Palms.
