The GG&G Standard Aimpoint Ring is the most rugged standard height Aimpoint scope ring available today. It is designed and manufactured to maximize the Aimpoint's tactical features. Unlike the copycat and cheap knockoffs available today, this ring is manufactured from 6061 T6 solid billet aluminum and Type III hard-coat anodized black per mil-spec, no shiny anodized finish, no extrusions or out-of-spec cast parts here. This standard Aimpoint 30mm ring, is built solid to with stand the rigors of combat.
It is attached to the standard scope mount base by using a squeeze rail design incorporating a single elliptical thumbnut. There is also a square locking cross bar for recoil control. The ring body has a built-in insulated spare battery compartment with a spare battery cap. This is an important feature and it's located on the side of the ring for easy access. Our ring is extra wide so that only one is required. In order to co-witness with a back-up iron sight and the front sight, the low-profile GG&G Standard Comp M Series Ring must be mounted on our Scout Length FIRE System Rail.
