I'm selling a DD M4A1 Rail Interface System II, RIS II FDE handguard in excellent condition. The original barrel nut and mounting screws are included.
This rail was designed at the request of US Special Operation Command (SOCOM) for the SOPMOD II program. They had a specific requirement for a free float M203 grenade launcher solution. DD stepped up and designed a brand new, ground breaking product to fill the need. The DD RIS II rail allows a free float M203 grenade launcher to be mounted without any additional parts or special tools. While it's unlikely a civilian would ever need that capability, your friends will be impressed.
For more info and specs, check out the DD website. For reviews, just use the Googles.
This rail is Daniel Defense's FDE cerakote is darker than Magpul FDE. I prefer the darker cerakote and it looks great with black furniture or receivers.
The reason I'm selling it is to help fund a project.
As of posting this ad, DD lists this rail for $440 but it isn't available.
My nearly new rail is right here, right now for $375 including shipping from KC to anywhere in CONUS.
