Got this jig used. It was used on an aluminum frame prior to my ownership and I used it for one forward pass on stainless steel before giving up and buying better tooling. Last owner messed up and put his pecker into the wrong hole and drilled a hole into the jig. Still centers fine for drilling. I used the other side's jig plate to make sure I used the right hole. To answer a question that's come up multiple times now, the oops hole is almost purely cosmetic. You can still center a drill on the correct hole. If you're worried about selecting the wrong hole, you'll notice that the jig plates are symmetrical. You can put your drillbit through both jig plates and mark the correct one easily.
