200-300 rounds ran on an ar 15, never given me any problems. Glass is in excellent condition, battery still has a lot of life to it. This red dot has a manual setting where you can set your brightness levels or an automatic setting where brightness levels of red dot adjust with less/more ambient light. Both modes work flawlessly.
