***One of two sets SOLD***SOLD**SOLD***One pair of double palm swell combat grips for a Smith N-Frame revolver by Fuzzy Farrant. Most certainly tiger-wood. These are pristine and very finely cross hatched (checkered). Includes original grip screw. Both are square frame models. Price $495 plus $10 shipping insured. ***SOLD****SOLD
Please PM me if interested. Grips for sale only. Revolver is for illustration only.
ROSEWOOD Grip **is now sold as well.
The other grip is also an N Frame for Smith & Wesson. Made by Fuzzy Farrant. Type of wood is Rosewood as Pau Ferro is darker and it is certainly not zebra wood. This is a smooth finish 'Target Grip' with double palm swell and palm rest etc. Excellent condition. Includes original grip screw. For sale $495 plus $10 shipping and insurance or best offer. Ships to Continental USA only. Foreign buyers can ship to a USA location. No warranties offered or implied. No returns.
From the Fuzzy Farrant letter that came with such grips (copy from the internet) " Two types of stocks; Combat model , Target model with thumb rest. Imported woods: Rosewood, Pau Ferro and Zebrawood-light with brown strips"
From readings on the internet, later Farrant grips stopped using Zebra wood because of difficulty importing. In contrast, Goncalo Alves wood is medium reddish brown with irregularly spaced brown or black streaks and typically darkens with age. I have not read any literature that states the use of Goncalo Alves wood by Farrant. The combat grips are not of this type of wood.
