I'm only selling this because it's an extra and priced accordingly due to its used cosmetic condition.
Looks a bit 'battle-worn' but works great!
Windage knob is positive with well-defined clicks, same with the elevation wheel, neither with any 'play' or 'slop'. When elevation wheel is at 6/3 it shows A2 sight housing slightly above the carry handle, the way it should be for a true mil-spec handle and A2 sight.
This is the real deal and was lifted from a military rifle shot by soldiers. Weight is 9 oz. and I believe that it's 7075-T6 aluminum, with anodized finish. Iit's certainly solid and will have no problem lifting your featured or featureless AR-15. It's definitely a quality handle. Forge markings are symbol Keyhole followed by a '9'.
Don't get suckered out purchasing what you may have thought was a mil-spec carry handle compatible with your 'F' marked front sight only to find that it's a commercial 'take-off' version lifted from a new or older Colt that isn't. You will not be a happy camper if you are serious about zero and I, for one, would not want the hassle of changing my front sight post out to a longer one that has to be purchased and installed in that FSB in order to work well with a commercial handle.
This one has scratches and paint chips predominantly along the sides of the handle only. Couldn't be described as 'pretty' but if you are a stickler for cosmetics you could judiciously paint over them.

Looks better in person than depicted in photos- camera lens picks up every minute detail including light reflections,
dust, etc., and makes cosmetic imperfections look even worse due to close-up photography.
