From Metallics to Porcelain, Plastics to Sandstone, and everything in-between "Additive Manufacturing" (AM) is growing in use and popularity. Unpolished, opaque black strong & flexible polyamide material with Spartan helmet inlay. Granular, sandy surface finish with the special "staircase" finish unique to unpolished AM parts. To produce AM parts, a bed of powder is laid down and sintered by laser, solidifying the powder as the geometry of the part is mapped out cross-section by cross-section. Successive layers of powder are then applied by roller or other and laser sintering of the part repeated. In this manner - sintered by laser layer-by-layer, section-by-section the part is completely built up.
Note: will not work with ambi safety.
