Can't see the pic so I can't see if there's anything special about it but $400 is too high for a sten kit and tube . Kit should be $200-250, tubes are $30. Then again with all the Obamamania the price may be right for the conditions.Comment

Really? MKIIs go for a lot more than MKIIIs do. First, no need to thread bash. Second, I think his price is close to what I saw a MKII kit going for at the last gunshow I was at. FYI, according to the ATF, all those parts you have in those photos make you in violation of constructive possession of at least an SBR (because you don't have a 16" barrel there) and possibly machine gun. Either way, it's an NFA violation and can get you in serious trouble. I'd advise deleting this thread and either getting rid of the tubing or the short barrel pronto.

judging by the work that has already been done to the tube, there is a very real chance that the tube itself is considered a machine gun in the eyes of the BATFE all by itself.
The kit and the tube together are a slam dunk prosecution, not to mention if you acquired it across state lines (or sell it across state lines) it adds a whole slew of federal charges you could be slapped with.
1.5x0.58 is original ID for the sten MKII which means it can only be used to make a machine gun... and it clearly has a bunch of work already done to it.
you've posted this on a public forum, which means people have seen it who will probably take a serious interest in this.
You need to talk to a lawyer asap
