It is if you want an IR laser. Check the price of a real DBAL and the fact that other then government or LEO you will be hard pressed to obtain an IR laser.
Do some research and you will see what I'm talking about. My DBAL-A2 was $1700.00 a year ago and they are a little bit more now.
The DBAL will run anywhere from $1100 to about $1300. My DBAL-A2 has both high and low visible, IR lasers, and IR illuminator.
Here I will help you, but you better sit down before you hit the link. http://www.morovision.com/mvnv_acces...bal_40090.htmlLast edited by Hateca; 01-29-2009, 3:35 AM.sigpic

The power of the laser and some other features.
The real deal has a range of miles where the knock-off has a range of up to 2000 yards. The real deal has a much more powerful laser.
The real deal has an adjustable laser dots where as the knock-off does not. The windage and elevation adjustments in the real deal are more positive then the knock-off. The momentary switch is much better on the real deal.
This is by no means a comparison to the real deal, can't compare the two at all really, but if you want an IR laser this is about the only way you are going to get one unless you are LEO or military.sigpic
