    Advice Regarding A Recent Transaction

No one is being called out here... Yet. Please read and weigh in on how you believe I should proceed. Hoping for some guidance, please... When I was moving from out of state, I was in need of someone to block my mags. Via this site I was referred to someone on the site that offers this service. He/she and I conducted a transaction via PM and through the mail. Completion of the project took longer than expected, so I needed to change the address of delivery. He/she obliged the address change. When the project was completed however, the mags were sent to the old address. I no longer had control over the mail at this address. I am now out 5 mags and the $ paid for the services.

I have attempted to rectify the situation directly with this person to no avail. As my final recourse I would like to make others aware of my bad experience. There was no marketplace ad for our transaction, so I do not believe iTrader feedback will be possible. Or is it? My other idea was to leave feedback in the Beware of Buyer/Seller thread, but I am unsure if this would be too extreme of a move since he is Vendor on the site. Any guidance anyone can offer on my particular situation would be greatly appreciated.

Send a mail to old address asking them if they have mags. See if they will ship to you . Is old address near or far away?

that sucks. if the person/company updates a post with their specials, you can attach feedback to that. you can update with iTrader, at least put neutral feedback. a vendor of the site that does not follow through needs to be called out, and at least try to provide good customer service and attempt rectify the situation (partial refund/discount/etc).

did you file a change of address at the post office?

I did this when I moved and all of my mails/packages to the old address were rerouted to my new address

It was a temporary stay situation. Only had control over the mail at the address for a finite window. That address is far away from my current location. I will attempt to reach out via snail mail, good idea. Thanks.

Since this transaction only took place via PM and the email, is iTrader feedback possible? If so, how?

It was not a long enough stay to qualify for a change of address unfortunately, or I probably would not be in this situation. The issue was being reassured the mags were being sent to the newly provided address and a lack of follow through with that.
