The guy is good. Very fast with communication. Prays on parts wanted forums sticking to difficult to find parts which makes the buyer slightly more desperate. I fell for him too.

I'm posting this message in all the forums I found where he has been reported, so far there has been 8 verified where he used the same info. Hopefully this will increase the odds he is discovered before another buyer gets duped.

Unfortunately I was another victim of Andrew Collins. I paid $150 total by zelle for 3 butler creek folding stocks and shipping. After I've made the payment he contacted me saying the shipping company is charging him $50 for compulsory insurance and over night shipping. I reminded him he agreed to cover the shipping costs but he still wants me to send another $50. I might be to trusting sometimes but I'm not an idiot. At that point I knew I had been scammed so I open calguns to reply to the guy that recommended Andrew and I see this thread, click to the last page and see the name mentioned several times.

Going back thru this last page of reported Scammers, there are quite a few of reported usernames that when searched in the Members List, are still showing as active or not Banned. WTF is up with that? If they've been outed as trying to direct someone to their "buddy" as they have what you're looking for, why the He11 aren't they being banned by the Admin?

EXACTLY!!!! I went through and started leaving negative feedback on the profiles of those profiles that were alleged scammers to hopefully help those smart enough to review feedback before sending a stranger money....

With the new website/server update, the iTrader feedback will now be forum-post based which will make it even easier for scammers because people are lazy....

I am posting this so in the hopes that no one else gets taken advantage of like myself I recently did a transaction for $150 for a UTG scope after paying the Venmo fee seller tells me it?s gonna be another $50 in shipping I got alarmed so I refuse to pay it. He says he went to FedEx store and they wanted $20 more, so like an idiot I paid the $20 now he?s calling me telling me there?s gonna be another $20 upon looking at his view is ratings he has been banned I didn?t look at it before like I should have I?m out $170 now ?users name is:

Sad to say, but I am cured from buying anything on cow guns marketplace anymore. It?s really not worth the risk.
Looks like his email is popping up on other complaints on this site as well?. asking you to contact him by email for a faster response?. He has cured me from purchasing anything on the Internet without a credit card ever again.

Sorry, but it's a costly lesson learned, always exercise your due diligence in vetting any seller on any selling platform, including Amazon and eBay. It will save you a lot of heartache and money.

When in doubt, pay with PayPal/Venmo's 'Goods & Services' and pay the seller the added fees, so you are at the very least you have some sort of protection. In my experience, when I have sent PayPal G&S to a scammer, they immediately refund me and request I send it via other non-protected means...this is your indicator it's a scam. ALWAYS LEAVE SCAMMERS OR SUSPECTED SCAMMERS NEGATIVE FEEDBACK - if it is a legit seller, they can contact an admin to remove the feedback.

Sorry to hear of your issue. FWIW, Ive done dozens of transactions (both buying and selling) here on CalGuns and have never had an issue. To be fair, i havent yet done a transaction where a seller was far away and it required me to send funds in advance. I wouldn't hesitate to do one IF:

1. the seller had a high Itrader score
2. a large number of posts showing they were an active member in the community
3. could not find the item locally and absolutely had to have it.
