Give him one last text/chance to make it whole maybe he got duped from someone else and just want to past the buck but still not right or who knows maybe he's a major counterfeiter, if not made whole, provide his info to local Secret Service office, they love cases like this.

Sorry man, that sucks. I know the feeling all to well. Seems like scammers are becoming more common on CGN.

Lately, I've been paying with regular PayPal w/ added fees versus friends and family/gift just for that little extra reassurance of opening a claim if sellers fail to follow through. It's saved my butt more than once this year. Including one guy immediately issuing a refund once he saw it wasn't friends/family.

Dang man, that sucks. If you kept the money order receipt, I think you can file a claim to cancel it. I hope you get your money back, ASAP. You have to be cautious with new members/persons with zero feedback.

I was almost scammed myself, but I paid the seller w/ PayPal non-friends/family & included the extra 3% fee for reassurance. As soon as I sent the money, he immediately refunded it.

I think we should bombard scammers with phone calls esp. when their phone number is posted. Let us know if that's what you want us to do.

Sounds like we need to also blackflag those who "vouched" for him bc they are likely his alternate accounts...

Also: STOP SENDING FUNDS W/O PROTECTION (i.e. PayPal F&F, Venmo, Zelle, Cash App, etc). If a seller refuses to accept regular PayPal, then you'll know it's likely a scam.

I sent regular PayPal and the seller/scammer refunded my money and asked for F&F.
