stay Firm Bee. I Was at the Gun show this weekend (it will be last gun show I go to with the internet and my local gun shop having better prices and all) the best price i saw on bricks of 22 was $55 the highest I saw was $75 and they were still sold out...... The days of low cost 22 is gone. I usually find 22 at Walmart and buy all that I can (3 box walmart max) but lately I have not been able to find 22 ammo at walmart at all. People talk crap on people that sell 22 they got from Walmart but hey (I dont resell mine) I dont see their lazy asses up at 0600 to stand in line till 0700 when the store opens up then usually you have to wait till the sporting goods manager comes in and pulls out the ammo stock usually at 0800 and hopefully you get some ammo depending on the amount of people in line with you. $45 for your ammo is a GREAT PRICE in my book for the crap that US guys have to go through to get 22. YES i buy all that i can when I find it at walmart BUT this is because I dont know when I will be able to get anymore.
