                                              Interested in getting one of these for the bed of my truck. Is there any external locking areas on these where I can secure it with a pad lock?

                                                  There isn't really a way to lock lock them shut. There are holes in the side of the can that could probably be used to secure them to a truck bed, but it looks like it would be hard to lock the lid.
