Breaking the law !
More like 15$ of value not only that isn't loaning a firearm / handgun without the person its registered to being present or who isn't a family member who you live with a felony let alone taking it across state lines since insn't FrontSight in NV.

I might have offered more rounds but I just don't have many to spare. If you can let me know who even has ammo in my vicinity and will sell for $20 a box please pm me.
I'm not a fanatical glock fanboy but I do have one that I'm letting someone else use. It's hard to miss all the torture tests posted everywhere about 100000+ rounds, etc. I doubt a few hundred extra rounds will make a difference.
I'm just putting it out there for a guy that has his glock just sitting in his safe (maybe because he has no ammo, can't find any or it is too expensive). No big deal. We had a couple people offering a .40 but I'm looking for a 9mm. If no takers I have other options otherwise I wouldn't be lending mine out.Comment

There's plenty of people offering "pie in the sky" pricing in the CG private ammo for sale forum of 9mm in the $25-$35. But even if you use that inflated value, it in no way justifies an 8 day rental firearm with 600+ rounds being put thru it. And that doesn't even begin to touch on the liability aspect that the owner would be taking on. If by chance the gun is "misplaced" and ends up in the wrong hands, the owner would be hardpressed to explain how his/her gun was used in the commission of a criminal act (or worse, acts). And the victim(s) likely would have a decent case to pursue damages against the owner.I might have offered more rounds but I just don't have many to spare. If you can let me know who even has ammo in my vicinity and will sell for $20 a box please pm me.

But congrats to you if there are people willing to loan their guns to your friend under these terms/circumstances. I hope it works out great for everyone.
Oh, and check the Private Ammo forum in a week or so. I'll have a few cases of factory new brass 124gr 9mm rounds available in the $20/box range if bought in qty, and I will be willing to ship from the SF Bay Area at actual FedEx ground (plus insurance) cost.Comment

I'm sorry...I wish the Librarian or other CG board member would chime in....this is not what the board is for especially in times when 2A is at stake...I don't think anyone other than your immediate family would agree to your "rental"...but by all means...try. I'd just hate to hear it on the news.Comment

From what I'm reading it is 30 days if the borrower has valid HSC but don't know about the out of state issue, so will pull listing. Thank youComment
