Second in line, cash in hand.

          $50

          In San Diego
FYI for those of you that thought this was a good deal the seller raised the price as I was driving to meet him and the ammo was not Australian. There was a layer of MEN on the top so I bought it anyway figuring it was still an ok deal. Turns out the rest underneath (80%) was Pakistani POF which I didn't see until a few days later when I looked at all the contents. My fault for not dumping out the entire can and looking at everything.

Ideally this guy will more accurately describe what he has in the future if he continues to sell on calguns.

I've shot the "Paki" out of my belt fed with no issues. So your probably good to go.

Shame on the seller for changing the price mid stream and not listing the ammo correctly !

What did you end up paying for it? You can PM me if you like, inquiring minds would like to know.

20% more. Not a huge deal. What bothers me a bit is that when he called me asking for more money he misrepresented what his ad said. I couldn't check as I was already in my truck but told him I recalled the original ad was for 200 rounds. But I took him at his word and agreed to pay more as I wasn't sure the exact wording of the ad. Several days later when I looked at all the ammo and noticed it was mostly POF I went back and looked at the ad. Plain as day - $50 for "about 200 rounds." I will give him the benefit of the doubt that it wasn't intentional (the ammo description being wrong, the demand for more money based on an additional misrepresentation of the ads language, and the convenient layering of the german ammo on top of the pakistani). He seemed like a nice guy. I do recommend future buyers "trust but verify" and not travel any distance that would be a waste of time and money should future items for sale not be accurately represented.

May as well add my 2 cents. He set an appointment for me to meet him the day after he listed the ammo. He didn't show. When I got a hold of him, he was 40 miles away & said he could meet me a couple days later. I never heard back from him.

I feel people like this should be losing their selling privileges here on Calguns. There are far too many good sellers here that go the distance and it's the bad one's that create a seedy environment. Mods should put this guy on probation at the very least.

                      Then why no negative feedback?

I've had my share of flakes that gave me contact info (cell number) and set up the deal, but never followed through and didn't respond back as wanting to back out or anything. Funny, though, one bumped their ad a week later after we set a deal up.
Also, don't know if it's obvious, but asking for pics never hurts. Know what your getting into, do go into it blindly.
