    41 mag ammo?

Does anybody out here know of a decent source of 41 mag ammo to feed a S&W Model 57. Cabelas shows it available but I thought someone might be aware of some a tad closer. Every time I call around all I get is laughter, guffaws or "41 magnum uh... what the heck is that?"

I love the 41 mag. I have three of them, a mdl 57 and two Ruger old mdl's. People are jack-a.... sometimes and wouldn't know a good caliber if it reach up and slap-em. I would go with Cabelas if they do have it, because chances are as your finding out it's pretty lean out there. I like your avatar. Are you in the military?

I agree the .41 is a great caliber.

I've had a hard time finding ammo for mine as well but thats why I reload.

+1 on that. I used to hear that the .44Mag can do everything a 41 can do but the trajectory on a .41 is so much flatter... And I can load bullets just as heavy too.

Last time I saw .41 Mag's was at Wild Sports. Never thought to check Sportsman's, tho.

When I bought my 41 it came with some ammo from Georgia Arms. 50 rds 210gr jacketed hollow point for $16.00 (dont know when he got it for that price). Phone number on the label is 404 459-5117. Good luck. If you find anything good let us know. It would be sweet to have a reloading party, I am keeping my eye out for components when I can.

OUCH! I didn't think it's been that long. Doesn't mention brand... Remington, maybe? Or are they reloads?

Take a look at Ammoengine.com. Georgia Arms seems like the best price at the moment.
