.30-06 Ammunition

I have two boxes of .30-06 ammo I'd like to sell or trade for 7.62x39.

One box is American Eagle 150gr FMJ. I've been told this is the only modern load that is near M2 Ball specifications and can be fired in an M1 Garand. I can't confirm this, so if someone has info on it, please post up.

The second box is Winchester 180 grain Power Point SP ammo. Great hunting ammo, the box says it's good for deer and bear (and man I suppose, if a .30-06 is your HD rifle).

I don't have pictures, sorry. You know what ammo looks like though, right?


Price for both boxes is $25 FTF in north Orange County. Or I will trade for boxes of 7.62x39 with a value equivalent to my .30-06. There was some apparent confusion to the generic phrase "a couple".

just a heads up to everyone, the OP is not looking to trade both box of 30-06 for 2 boxes of 7.62x39.....as stated in the thread. he also wants cash for it too.

Yes apparently to some people the phrase "a couple" always means exactly two. I was using the term as an approximate value to my .30-06 ammo. I appologize if there was confusion here.
