They are on back order, but it is a great price. Especially for a piston upper. A few years ago you could get a barrel and bolt for under $300. Now that the surplus has been banned from import, there isn't as much demand, so they don't make as many.

They wont sell it to you if you live in Cali. I tried MANY times. I tried to even get them to take the mag out.

But they will ship to out of state addresses. I normally have it sent to relatives out of state, and they pull the magazine for me, then send it on. You can also look around on Gunbroker for the used S&W uppers. People have been dumping those as the ammo dried up.
