I doubt they will ship it to CA at all. At least their policy on handguns is quite restrictive. I believe you might be much better off just buying the 9mm upper at the Black Friday sale.

Says it comes with Colt style mags, so that makes it easy. Calguns vendor Mag Commander has 10 rounders from ASC for just under $14:

Does anyone know the quality of the magazine block? I'm wondering if it's polymer like the Pro Mag, or metal like Hahn/RRA.

Removing bolt catch from an existing lower seems too much hassle. I guess that's why this kit includes the lower build kit. Need a Glock mag block option.

Sounds like the Hahn dedicated block. I'm wondering if this is a PSA clone or a Hahn.

It's a good deal though, which makes me sad because I've been piecing my 9 build for awhile now and it's going to cost me almost twice the cost of this kit.

I've seen one glock mag/ar adaptor on the web.. the guy machined it himself & wasn't selling them.

That said, $599 is a pretty good deal by any standards - if you really need a 9mm ar with glock mags, you could buy a bare quarter-circle 10 glock mag lower & peddle the psa-included mag block in the marketplace to lower your costs.. worst-case, you would be $900~ish all in for a glock mag / ar9.. fwiw, I'd expect that the bolt on the psa upper would need to be narrowed to clear glock feed lips, which is about a $50 deal from adco.

I had a 9 mm AR is was a whole lot of fun. Once ammo gets back down to 199 for 1k for good stuff maybe I'll build another.
