Trigger heavy ONLY in the MA compliant ones... check the web site

I looked at each one before I ordered..

BTW - is your comments direct to me???? -- I am happy lol

Yeah, directed to you, and I take it you got the 'Free State' version, yes, with no mag disconnect or thumb safety?

I have read that trigger is heavier on all, not only MA iteration, due to lack of a manual safety, though MA version may be the heaviest.

Also, I am aware that the S&W website indicates otherwise for versions without the thumb safety. Let us know your measured trigger pull.

got it, lol... Actually, I am very please with the deal.. we all love to get cheaper but the LGS is 2 miles from my house and I got what I wanted... I still suspect the Pawn would charge for getting in a SSE??? but he said no.

I felt the trigger in the shop before it went to jail and it felt no different but when I go to pick it up I will do a side by side to the others in the case, pretty good store.

Talking about trigger... I got my Glock 27 back in about 98 - wife wanted a 26 4 years ago,,, I told her to try my glock 27 to see if she was ok with the trigger... she was fine.. got her 26, she tried it and said, thanks for the nice trigger???? I tried the 26,, WTH??? got on line to learn the 5 cent glock trigger job,,, pulled my old 27 down to work on it.... saw that it had an ORANGE part in the trigger????? Yep,,, somehow I got a New York Trigger in my 27 and it was there for Years and I just thought all Glocks had this 12 pound New York Orange trigger, LOL...

Live and learn... Still have my 27 and love it... Actually, I have read that Glock is finally going to come out with a single stack Glock in 9mm and or 40 = but not till 2015 - so unless I move to a free state.... This is why I wanted the Shield and it looks to be a nice gun

Just got home and took my NON Complaint CA shield out of the box NO yet even fired... did three trigger pull test

S&W states stock trigger is 6 pound 8 ounces +-.

Mine (not fired yet - brand new)
          6 pounds 14 ounces
          6 pounds 11 ounces
          6 pounds 9 ounces

placing the guage on this trigger was not easy - I am guessing that is way the 5 ounce range PLUS Iam not an expert on this, Just wanted to see what it was even before the break in.

To me it feels fine and should only get better with use - Plus, several Youtube video's on how to smooth it out OR I can $$$$ and up grade the trigger...

For now, I am happy with the trigger and the Urban legand that the Non safety was a HEAVY Trigger is not true on this gun

BTW - my Glocks 26/27 came in at 6 pounds 1 ounce AND 5 pounds 13 ounces

im waiting for them to put this baby on sale again, i tried to support my local LGS, all have substantially higher prices for this particular firearm, even including transfer/import fee.

At my LGS the Non CA version (I got the one with out the ext safety) was actually $20 less than the CA version / I hate that Red flag on top (LCI). Plus, safety & no mag, no fire. After 12/31 , that will be the only one your LGS can sell, so if your OK with those feature, your good to go
