    1 CZ97 in stock

Grabbed one from them last week. Just playing the waiting game now.

I have the new one with FO sight and slimmed alum grips.

Trying to love it. But the grips are huge for smaller hands and the DA trigger pull long. It also uncomfortably digs into my hand so I shoot it with a glove on.

Speaking of shooting, my groups are nothing to write home about. I do much better with the CZ 75B. I shoot it low, which is not typical of my other semis and revolvers.

Next outing, I will shoot it from a bench with different ammo and see.

It is a soft shooting rock solid hunk of steel and people rave about them. I'm probably in the minority, but it's not looking like a good fit for me. I'll give it a little more time and decide if I want to keep it or let it go to fund a 1911.

Let us know how it goes.

    Cheers!

got confused by the P-09 pic

like the 97b alum grips, feels thinner than the 1911, but the grip is a little wider horizontally if that makes sense.

Gunther Guns in Carlsbad has an on roster 97B.

It is $699 out the door + tax and DROS. Has the slim aluminum grips and FO front sight. Finish is matte black. No SSE.

LOL, same here with the P-09 pic. Speaking of which I ordered a P 09 in FDE from Grabagun early this morning. Now I'm really done. I mean it!

I picked up my 97 BD a few days ago. I Agree that it is a soft shooter. It has been quite accurate for me when i am doing my part.

I dislike the thin aluminum grips. The grip is way to thin for me so i ordered the rubber grips.

It also dose not like the first round if i load the mags to 10. I have had allot of FTF's on full mags, and only a few otherwise. Some of this could be break in or the ammo i am using. I am currently shooting 230g PMC.

All in all, i am happy with it. Soft shooter.

Don't rule out the tanfoglio witness elite in .45 (are Bi tone). Not to be confused with the non-elite version that the repors of cracked slides and frames are usually about. Tanfoglios cost less and feed a wider variety of ammo as well and I believe cz mags will work as it was cz that copied tanfoglio and their sizing/specs/mags on this one.

I don't think that's right penguin. Everything i read says tanfoglio copied cz and cz was still under the iron curtain therefore unobtainium. That said i did but a witness elite match and look forward to comparing it to my 75b
