*IGNORE: OVER* -Simmons: $30 Mail-In Rebate for Any Rifle Scope or Laser Range Finder

    Hi All,

Simmons is offering a $30 mail-in rebate on any rifle scope or laser range finder.

End dates vary depending on where you get the form:

That makes the Simmons 8-Point 3-9-x40 scope about $19.99 at Gander Mountain, if you can find at least a penny's worth of items to qualify for free shipping. Otherwise, it is $4.99 for shipping.

Me too. Wonder if the rebate will work with that?

Dunno, its comes in the factory box but mine had a sticker placed over the UPC. Offer says valid on new products only so I doubt a refurbish unit would work. You could try it but they want a copy of sales receipt with it. Usually they want the cardboard UPC taped to the form instead of photo copy to prevent people from buying one, getting a rebate and then returning the item unless you say it broke and threw out the box but then you will probably get referred to the product warranty.
