The markings are under the hand guard and difficult to see. I checked the barrel when I assembled my son's AR and had to wipe some CLP on it and hold it at a angle to the light to see it.

I have the carbine length the markings will be underneath the hand guard area, it says "DD F MP 5.56 NATO 1/7" there is also a number above that which says "111326492-B" just under the gas tube. The upper also had a Daniel Defense logo on the top left of the side with the bolt release near the barrel nut.Comment
