The mid-length description doesn't say anything about the bolt carrier group but the carbine says it does?

It's probably going to be a description error. All Spike's Tactical upper always come complete w/ bcg and ch and at least comes with their standard phosphate BCG which is this one.

Both uppers are listed in the "complete uppers" section of dsg's website so that should give you some assurance that the bcg & ch are included with the mid-length upper. Good deal on quality uppers.
