A friend and I are going in on reloading supplies. We have yet to take the class, but I don't want to miss a good deal. What are this one's limitations?

Can it be set up for pistol and rifle calibers; specifically .223/5.56, .308, 9mmL, .45acp?

i know the ignorance/research annoyance, but I'm ready to buy now before there gone. Not wasting time reading everything yet.

        Sorry, on my phone.
        Pro:
        - Great Price for a Well Built Turret Press: This is the one you want if you are looking into Lee's Turret lineup: Cast Iron & Steel linkage
        - Reload any caliber mentioned above; Especially nice reloading rifle
        - Seperate Turret Heads are cheap: approx. $15
        - Switching calibers is easy & economical
        - takes std. Dies
        - simple operation; east setup
        - auto index or manual per station [This has 4x]
        - Spent primers drop through the ram: easy containment into a bottle/bin
        - Always great to have one around if you add on a Progressive later

        Cons:
        - Only one case at a time [Can also be a plus; Application varies]
        - Slower than a Progressive, but after than a Single
        - ^ applies to priming as well

        * Great Press to start out with: set it up as a single or Auto indexing turret
        * Sure there are more & hope this helps !

Perfect! Thank you! I will look real quick into the progressive option, but i don't think we are in any hurry to crank out hundreds per hour. just enough to keep us happy at the range 2 or 3 times a month.

          Thanks again!

Glad I could help, This will get you going
Don't let the price turn you off from this, it's a steal for steel

Add a few items [Dies, Shellholder Set, Powder Measure, Calipers, etc.] and you'll be loading in no time

We have this exact press and have found that it's great for pistol cartridges, but for rifle cartridges we use a Lee single stage. It can be done but the single stage is the way to go for rifles.

I've reloaded about 1k of .223 and various other calibers on this press before I upgraded and it works well great. Good price

They had this deal a while back with prices a little bit higher so this is super cheap. I grabbed one a couple nights ago, said it shipped out this morning. Instead of the shell holder set I grabbed the Lyman Reloading Book just cause you can never have enough reference material.

That is an awesome price at $78 with 10% off I paid around $110 and at the time that was the lowest shipped price.
