    Free Safe!!!

This is not my safe. I thought it was pretty cool deal if you can move the thing.

I got the way to move it, but "Unfortunately, we don't have the combination" kills it for me.

I have trouble believing that the safe weighs 600 lbs. But hey maybe that is right. I think 2 guys and a refrigerator dolly could move it. To bad I am not closer. As for the lock you could just replace it with a digital lock that you can program.

I would snag it, but I already have a 500 pound object to worry about.

The combo is EASY, just take off the 4 screws in the sheet metal on the back of the door. I wouldn't be surprised if it written down.

As long as no one locks the door closed, the lack of a combo is not a big deal.

As long as the door is open you can buy a refurbished electronic lock on Epay for 50 bucks, I bought a centurion fire safe on Craigslist last year for 80 bucks, its now a handgun safe. The combo was lost and door was open too. The electronic lock took 15 minutes to install, easy peazy

If it really weighs that much, as long as they didn't close the door and lock it, the door should come right off, right? Thereby making the box ~100 lbs lighter?

That's how I moved 417 lbs safe, that was three times the size of this one, by myself. I had no problem putting the door back on.
