that's a deal. wish I would of saw this before I went to the grocery store. I'd let the kids starve for a few days
It takes a lot of balls to play golf the way I do.

I was reading you can drop them off at the fire department until they are 6 years old. Now I just have to convince the wife.

Send them to Africa. Those programs on TV are always telling you it only takes pennies a day to feed the kids!

I had my CC info on checkout and ready to go.....I closed the page.

Sooook tempting but I need to calm down with my firearms spending. I already have seve ft al lowers. That's the important part. These deals come and go and I will simply wait.

What is the scoop on the barrel? Any feedback?

From the minimal research I've done online (not that there is too much info floating around on these ptac products to begin with) I think the barrel is simple 4140 steel unless otherwise stated as melonite treated. So there barrels are either 4140 or melonite. No chrome lineing in the barrel I THINK.

As far as chambering, they all seem to be in 5.56 NATO.

For feedramps, the PTAC uppers seem to have either standard feedramps with an A4 upper receiver (no m4 cuts),

                          or

m4 feedramps with an M4 upper receiver (with m4 cuts). These are what most people desire.. But from what I understand, both are GTG.

The only set up to avoid, and would be considering WRONG, is standard feedramp barrel extension with m4 receiver combo.

But yeah, I don't think these PTAC barrels are FN. But they shoot straight from what most people have been saying. 1/2" @ 100yrds with good ammo & optic was quoted by someone here or on ar15.com

Just making sure but if you bought that 6000 bulk pack on the front page, I hope you realize its just the bullets itself and not a complete "round". I had a friend buy it then cancel later on thinking it was complete ammo.
