I think it's a cool gadget. Yes, there are some limitations, but overall it's very interesting, at least. If they manage to fit the re-chargeable battery in it, it will totally rock, but I am sure it'll be x10 more expensive.

If you lose it, it's pretty much like you lose a wallet. No difference. I would definitely consider having one or two separate backup credit cards, which are NOT loaded into this gadget.
Generally speaking, I like the idea. Note,(unlike OP ) I am not referring here, I am not getting $5 for your subscription, I am not affiliated with them in any way. I just like the gadget

From what I understand, it has to be teathered to your cell phone in order for it to authorize payments; this is supposedly a security feature to prevent the card from being used if it's lost or stolen.

So what happens if you're out having dinner and your cell phone battery dies before you pay your bill?

My one free card works just fine. Nobody needs 20 credit cards unless they want to be a slave for life.

Across your forehead would be more convenient, especially if your hands are full.

Obviously, you are not their client. I have a way more than one credit card (a way less than 20, tho), with different perks on each.

CASH deals aren't as easy to track. You'd be surprised how much info someone or even a gubmit agency can learn about you from a quick glance at your spending habits.
