My wife is starting to get antsy about finishing her AR. I found a couple that would work great at BCM but the price is up there. I know they make great stuff, and if I was headed off to war, I wouldn't hesitate. Hopefully the barrel manufactures will start making the middies again soon.

Yeah, we started a his and hers project back in March. We picked up a couple of 80% lowers, did the milling, had them serialized and anodized. Since then we've been putting them together a little bit at a time. I was fortunate to find a great rifle kit at PSA at a very good price. The wife doesn't like the 18" barrel or the hand guard because it won't accommodate a vertical grip close enough to the lower for her. And she wants something a little lighter. All she is missing is the upper barrel assembly. We don't even need a BCG or charging handle. So, the search goes on. I might just have to suck it up and buy one from BCM.
