60 round "rebuild kits"? You mean for the 60 rounder you purchased back in 1999??? (ok sure)

California made the laws, I simply abide by them.

Call it what you want, but they are completely LEGAL to own...as long as they are not assembled. Many people take their rifles to shoot in other states where the magazine can legally be used.

You can buy this mag disassembled, bring it to a state that allows these mags, assemble it and use it, disassemble it and bring it back to CA without breaking any laws.

I believe you can use a 60 round rebuild kit to replace a previously owned 30 round magazine, unless you can point to the law wording that states otherwise there's nothing in the law that says the capacity or even the caliber have to stay the same after repair...

I wouldn't want to pay your lawyer bills caught with it assembled in CA. I do not believe their are any parts in common. Intent of the law..
