GOG doesn't set the price you pay. You go through their Gun Genie which is basically a price list for their dealer network. Individual gun dealers can charge what they want and sometimes there is a huge difference. You put in your zip code and it tells you what gun dealers in their network are charging for that particular gun. Obviously, you will have to pay tax since it is just like going into your local dealer and ordering a gun.

Yes once you enter your zip code and get a price quote, that is the out the door price and includes tax, DROS, and shipping.

Ralston Rod and Tackle in Scotts Valley is $1177 out the door, but the added distance for me (I'm in SJ) and the iffy reviews made it not worth it for me. It may be worth it for others.
