            Anyone know if this is a 3V light? Or does it possibly have 4.2V or 8.4V circuitry to run an 18650 or even 2 x 16340 li-ions?

            With the latter, the light could be closer to 400-500 lumens.... before burning out the LED

                that's the A1 that uses AA, the L1 uses CR123
