N.Bay Walmart Ammo Check-In here

I went to Rohnert Park Walmart an hour ago, they had about 30 boxes (150 round loose packs) of Federal American Eagle, 5.56, 62 grain FMJ. It's the green tip stuff, XM855. Out the door price was $76.09, for 150 rounds, not to bad.

The guy in front of me bought 1 pack, I bought 3, the guy behind me bought 1 and the kid behind him bought 3. So they'll probably be gone really quick, get them while you can. 3 boxes per customer per day rule is still in effect.

Also lots of Tula .223, a wide variety of 30-06, M1A specific 7.62x51 forget the brand, Winchester .243, Tula 7.62x39, Winchester 7.62x39 and much more. I should of taken a picture, sorry I can't remember everything but they were stocked very well. Again this is Walmart in Rohnert Park, Sonoma County.

In this thread people should post ammo updates for Windsor, Rohnert Park and even Ukiah Walmarts.

Good move getting a north Bay Walmart thread going. We have a southbay (Milpitas, mt view, gilroy) thread going that's been running for a year and a half. Met a bunch of good guys and calgun regulars just by chatting it up in the thread and eventually running across each other at regular Wally runs. Hopefully, your thread creates the same type of sub community within calguns.

After every Walmart visit I will do an ammo update in this thread. I usually make two trips to Walmart every week. I normaly go to the Walmart in Rohnert Park but occasionally go to the ones in Windsor and Ukiah. So I'll do an update for those ones sometimes. I would like to encourage others to do the same. Those that frequent Windsor and Ukiah Walmarts should post ammo updates here as well.

We all don't live a mile from Walmart, so an ammo update thread is very useful. This thread has the potential to save people time and money on gas, when people can check what's instock here before they make a long trip. Some of use live 30 minute to an hour from the nearest Walmart. We should look out for eachother. If we can save a fellow gun owner some time or money on gas that's great. So lets make it happen, I'm hoping there's enough members in the area to make it happen.

Of course this thread isn't just about posting when the shelves are empty but moreover it's about informing our fellow gun owners when the shelves are full. - And what the shelves are full of in regards to ammo.

Thanks for starting this tread! I live smack dab in the middle of a 'dry' county. Contra Costa and Alameda Walmarts do not carry ammo. So, if I am every in the neighborhood, I will post what I see. I will hit the Milpitas WM or the American Canyon WM. The guy at the American Canyon WM was super cool. Encouraged me to buy more boxes. But I felt bad doing so since I didn't really 'need' it. This was at the height of the hysteria and you could find more than a box of 9 to rub together let alone a value pack!

Dixon Walmart federal xm855 420rd can $199. As of five min ago they had three cans left. Lots of .380 and .40 cal too.

Federal .40 cal was $14.98. .380 was made by Tula I think it was $13.98 per 50rds but don't quote me. They were pretty well stocked on most calibers except .22

They had two these at the American Canyon Walmart on Sunday. They also had 1000rd box of 223 federal (no can) in the display but couldn't sell it because it wouldn't scan.
