Looked like a stock 18" chrome gen 3 style gun. They are so solid, there is nothing like a LMT MWS...they said they have as many as I wanted to buy, but I think he also said they had hundreds.

I would guess they can be had at any turners. There were two on the shelf at FV...

I have owned 3 and still have one. I will buy one for myself. Mine has no threaded barrel and a muzzle brake really helps with a 308.

What is it with this particular AR10 that has people going Gaga its a D.I. rifle like so many out there. its being called a solid gun, what AR is not that is in its price range. Frankly, could it be that the British military ordered them, lowest bidder wins in my opinion. I think there is more hype and clever marketing aimed at this rifle and we are being spoon fed it.

Have you fired or own one? The rifle is built like a tank and is an outstanding performer. There is more than enough information and testimonials out there backing this rifle up. It comes in a 5R SS barrel option but people are hitting targets at 1k with the 16" chrome lined barrel. Not only that but it is the same as the Knights rifle for 2k less.

I got mine shortly after they first came out for $2400. Great rifle!!! Overrated at $4000?, Yes! At $2400, No Way!!! $3000 seems to be fair these days.

LMT MWS is a really fine AR. If you can find another AR 308 that is more reliable, accurate, and back by exceptional customer service at this price, good for you. I have one and I love it!

So buy a pof or a smith and Wesson. They (the sw) are in stock too and at $1,600.00 they are also priced nicely.

There are many reasons a Lmt Mws is a better gun, for one the barrel is much heavier and inherently accurate. That alone is reason to opt for a MWS. I would imagine a MWS in a 20" SS barrel would be exceptionally accurate for a semi auto.

And now tell me a Mercedes is no better than a GM, because that's similar to the comparison between a Lmt and a SWAr10

As to no 308 at Walmart...f Walmart, is the singular thinking endemic to a shallow mind, a lazy mind, a cheap mind, or all 3?? Why feed wwb to a gun that deserves 168 or 175 SMK's.

This thread was just to Alert people that mws's are in stock, not to become a forum on the availability of ammo or the intrinsic qualitative valuation of ar10's. what is it with people who feel the need to crap in any thread they stumble upon in their desperate desire to vent their rage and angst at the world??

Look around, Turners has been pricing firearms at excessive amounts. If they have it, chances are so do other LGS' or even some online stores that facilitate CA buyers.
