I did a little research after I asked my question. Looks like Brownells, Joe Bob, etc. do sell these adjusters.
Looks like there are a few different manufactures and from the comments users are happy with the results.
ARFCOM also has many members that have used these adjusters with positive results.
Go figure. New to meComment

I have one of JoeBob's trigger adjuster in my build. Got rid of 99.9% of the creep. Some people argue that it may make it easier to have an accidental discharge since the screw pushes the trigger closer to the breaking point with the sear. I don't believe that it makes the rifle unsafe; as long as you install it correctly you should be good to go. I've tried to get the rifle to fire by slamming, rattling, dropping, and yanking the trigger while safety is on, and never could.
Don't forget to locktite the screw after making sure you didn't over tighten and your selector still functions properly. Check out JoeBob's website for more information on these. I'm assuming they're the same part, only you can get these up to $15 cheaper.
The last 10 posts you made ,within 5 minutes, have all been worthless.WTB:

Ill second 9mm1911's comments.. I have done that to not only my 4 AR's but several friends AR's and the difference is huge... Some lowers may need to have the threading finished (some dont go all the way through) but that is easily done with a tap from your local hardware store.. Its one of those mods that you just set and forget, although I do highly recommend the use of lock-tight once you get the set screw adjusted. You can take it a step further and bob your hammer and install JP low power springs and drop the trigger pull to a very nice 4lbs with almost or no creep and a nice crisp break. Im not saying this is as good as a Timney trigger, but for less than $15 in parts and a little elbow grease it is damn near as nice... I know that at this point I would never spend the $200+ on a trigger when I can get almost the same result for $15!! On a side note I have fired over 1000 rounds of Lake City XM193 and not a single light primer strike (I figured that someone would comment about that being a possibility with the light springs)

Thanks OP for the topic, but thanks more 9mm1911 for the tipI think I will check my rifles and see what kind of creep they actually have now.
Would this have any ill effect on a 2 stage trigger that I might be missing?
This reminds me of the set screw that use to be sold here that was used to to hold the takedown pin & detent so it would not shoot out if you took off the stock plate.
That screw 9mm1911 shows at Lowes I think is The Hillman Group 2-Count #14 1/4-in - 28 x 1/4-in Alloy Cup-Point Allen-Drive Socket Cap Screws Item #: 137255 | Model #: 880932 at about .68 cents perLast edited by glock_this; 06-25-2013, 9:19 AM.10 +1 in the chamberComment

Moreover, with the method I mentioned you may have to file down a bit of the trigger to avoid interference with the safety. I've got no problem messing around with a trigger that I could easily replace for a few dollars, but you might not want to do that with a custom trigger that likely cost you $100 or more.
It's possible. I've done this on 2 of my AR's and one of my friends. All had PSA LPK's, but one of them had a slightly longer grip screw that did interfere. Just trimmed down the screw a bit and problem was solved. Basically, YMMV.sigpicComment

nice find OP!
These trigger adjusters are found on higher end lowers - look at a franklin or seekins- they are built in.
I have this function from my cnc80 lower, now i wont run a long range AR without one. For a CQB type rifle, maybe not so much.
Sooooo nice. I tried the short nut from Home depot but i almost requires you to mill out a half moon from the rear of the trigger so it doesnt interfere with the selector.
Pair this with the wolff 3.5# spring and its as close to a high dollar custom trigger as you can get.
as for negligent discharges, yes Its possible if you overadjust it that it might ND or FA on you, so be careful how much adjustment you give it. I back mine out 1/3-1/2 turn and have had no issues with mine.Last edited by 3RDGEARGRNDRR; 06-25-2013, 8:09 PM.CA: Exorcising my 2A rights
