Here is my issue with the brownells add.
The brownells add states "Machined from high-grade 8620 carbon steel to mil-spec dimensions" the J&T (which is Double Star) page states "Semi-Auto Carrier is chrome lined, made from Carpenter 158 steel, and coated per mil spec."

So is not an 8620 bolt or a Carpenter 158 bolt. I would think it is Carpenter 158 but who really knows at this point and once you get one can you really look at it and tell the difference?
