blacktyde tactical mbus gen 1 front and rear in black for $39

Im tired of seeing other members post rediculous prices on parts so when i see them ill post em here. I got a set of these and they are real magpul and not airsoft. And if your not familiar with these sights look for the review comparing them to the troy buis, these won hands down.
Lord let my aim be true and my hand faster

Careful i ordered stuff from these people and after a few months of promises i canceled then was hit with a ridiculous restock/cancellation fee. I asked how can you charge me a restock fee for something you don't have stock of in the first place? They said because if the time it takes to do the order...i call bull****!! Will never order from again and will warn you about the shady business practices.

That was also my concern, but they are a vendor on this site. It should be pretty easy to contact them and get it straightened out.

Hopefully my order goes through because that's a great price.

I was going to order this and something else from them but will not go through with it because of herman's post. I attached their policy regarding back orders and OOS items. It seems like an unusual policy that puts the burden on the customer. I bet they charge even before the items is in stock, which is not acceptable and not the regular practice of most retailers we use here. (Yes, I see that the MBUS set is showing in stock but is there inventory really "live"?) I don't agree with their rationale that they had to process the order so they did some work to justify a 20% restocking fee. It is very hostile to the customer and saving a few bucks on Gen 1 MBUS is not worth it to me and I'll go to any number of tried and true retailers.

They DO charge your card right away. I agree it was easy to contact them but as far as getting it worked out they took the money and said we'll give you a coupon on later orders...WTF! There will not be any later orders from this company. Btw their inventory is not live.

Very irritating! Up to you guys if you order or not but just be warned that's all I'm saying...bad business tactics for sure!

So I ordered these when they were on sale. I ordered the Gen2 as the link above was no longer working. I have provided a link of what I purchased. Maybe I am ignorant but I see nowhere that this item is a clone or even a training model and not a real MBUS. Does this seem like false advertising or because the price I needed to know that these were not real items? I thought as them being a vendor, I would be safe as to what I am purchasing. I have provided a link to the item. I am not bashing them at this time, just asking for your opinions.

Update ** Working with BTT and they are very quick to respond ** I will update how it goes.

I know most vendors just let these type of post carry their course. But, I try to address it different and reply.

To keep with the forums rules "sticky above" and not turn this into "crap threading". I'll post once and try to address all concerns. I did PM some for a personal PM.

If you ordered something recent and aren't happy, please contact us directly, as most know, we are easy to get a hold of. We will exchange or fund the item, no biggy.

For the person who was charged a cancellation fee. I don't know who that is. I looked up the name used and found nothing. But, we previously used a c.c merchant who charged a 4% refund fee to us. With the initial fee of 4%, that's 8% of total invoice to refund an invoice. While we understand things come up and someone needs to cancel, we had no options at that time. We have now went with a new merchant that doesn't charge refund fees. Thus a 50% saving on refunds. We will be updating our policy shortly.

We have looked at a handful of vendors on here and see the same policy we have on their site as well. Cancellations fees, etc.

I see a few are happy with our service, and we thank you and see some of you who are repeat customers.

Thank you for your feedback, it helps us grown and post like this helps get our name out there. Again, due to the changes, we will be updating our policies to serve our customers better. Any other questions, to keep within forums rules, please PM one of our staff, or call us.

Thanks BTT for responding. I am speaking with customer service and as I stated before am not trying to bash. I looked at the product and since I tried to order while the sale was on. Maybe did not look close enough if the product was what I was hoping for. Thank you for coming onto here and also addressing the policy changes. I don't think you should eat the cost as that's not a way to run a profitable business. I will PM you my order number in which I am referring to and hope to get this respolved.

I was sent fakes, they look nothing like the picture on the website.

Black Tyde answered the phone after hours and is willing to take these back, but it's still not ok to send fake stuff out.

                            Pic from their website.

Here's what I received, note the raised vs embossed magpul logo. The sights have a cheap feel and are definitely not quality.

Thank you for bring this to our attention. Yes, we answered the phone after hours, agree to a full refund, and were very surprised to see this post by you.

We cold send this pair back to our vendor, but I am sure they would reply "how do we know those are ours?" So, we will just destroy them once received and issue a full refund to our customer. Simple, easy, no drama.

                              Thanks,
