I was buying a lot of ammo from them before their site was unreliable and they started charging CA sales tax with no reason to here in CA.

They had great prices on ammo but with shipping and sales tax that kinda killed it.

Well, technically you're suppose to report all online purchases...
But the odd thing is, generally stores that don't have a presence in CA don't charge tax, but for some reason SG does (even though they're in Minnesota)

Anyways, here on CG, I've heard a lot of negative things of the site, but whenever my father purchases from them he seems content enough. So I guess YMMV.

Despite all the negative things said about SPG I've always had good experience with them. I was able to get 1,000 rounds of 7.62x39 for $230 shipped. You don't get that anywhere. I live in Orange County and they processed my orders without any issues.

This. I'm from MN, and I like to support the homeland when I can, but I do draw the line too. I give my friends a hard time for buying from here and CTD.
