And, Botach is the Full Auto BCG. Brownell is the Semi-Auto BCG.
I never had a problem with Botach.

Poor reviews? I ordered the carrier to see what's what. If it sucks, I can return it.

I bought the last time around to finish my build. I wanted a WMD but I wanted to finish my build asap. After reading the reviews and receiving my order I regretted it. The finish on these is different to the WMD and looks like a poorer product overall. BUT... After sticking this in my Nib upper with a Nib CH I was very impressed and happy. Not one FTF with anything from regular 5.56 to Hersters to surplus tracers That build is fastest and smoothest I have ever shot.

So yes, this is a great product.

In California, it's preference. Some people WANT an FA BCG either because it's the extra mass or just the "hey, I got me a FA bolt, not that I'll ever own an NFA weapon in Cali!".

The Semi Auto bolt works just fine in most AR15.

I like ordering from Brownell because if the product doesn't perform to my standards, then I can return it, used, any time.. Botach, as much as they're GTG, will charge a re-stocking fee but the unit can't be used and abused.
