Problems with ammo orders?

I ordered ammo from Silver State and Palmetto State, it said in stock, CC was charged, but no shipping info or ammo yet.

Anyone else seen this?

Never dealt with silver state, but Palmetto is a hit or miss. Sometimes they ship in a couple of days, sometimes 5 weeks. Depends what was ordered. Was it only ammo, or were there other items?

Ordered ammo from PSA a few months ago. Website slowed to worst than a crawl because there was ammo in stock!

Anyhow, my card was charged / amount of credit held for the case. Ammo didn't ship until 7 days later and took another 6 days to get to NorCal. It didn't update to 'shipped' on PSA site until the 8th day.

Their website indicates they are about 5 to 7 days behind with processing and shipping orders.

How long ago did was your order placed?

One thing I hate about PSA, they say they have it in stock and charge you right up front and it takes forever to ship out. I bought an upper from PSA last year, they charge my CC and took 21 days before they even process the order, then another 7 days to get here.

Funny that I had to call and ***** and finally they got the ball rolling. Not even worth my time for another purchase.

Only shop PSA if you have the time to wait. I, for one, who like to get my stuff ship in a timely manner if its in stock, esp if I have been charged.

SSA is good to go, all my experience for ammos was shipped the next day after purchased.

Just got charged by cabelas today for that .223 order from dec/jan. my account on cabelas still says back ordered - odd

Justhitit have you gotten anything in a timely manner lately? Everyone is backordered and psa if faster still than a lot of other vendors right now. And they aren't price gouging like some of these other companies. Almlst every company takes a few days to ship at least even before thos nonsense... or have you never ordered parts before... if you want same day shipping go to midwayusa, as from the dozens of companys I ordered from they are the only ones that religiously send "shipping" notifications right away. Yet the packages from palmetto usually beat them here since midway like to split delivery between ups and the post office...

dont fool yourself, even PSA raised prices, my experience with them has been hit or miss. One order, everything comes in oem packaging, the next order everything is out of packaging and looks used. They still owe me a refund, looks like I am going to contact my CC company if it doesn't happen this week. I stopped buying from PSA.

Be patient. It will come. PSA is just bogged down as usual. Not sure about the other vendor.

If you used a credit card, call and file a dispute.

In this day and age, there is no other way to buy online.

No checks, no money orders period!

Your credit card will side in your favor if everything is documented and especially if vendor never responds. I have yet to have one go against me.

I also ordered from shooter tactical in january, however they did not charge my card so no biggie. However I still wanted to make sure they cancelled the order because it was supposedly in stock ammo, multiple emails and calls with no response.

I've ordered parts from PSA, and they have all arrived within a week. Ordered on the 1st, so it's soon, but based on what you've all replied here, not sure I'd ever order ammo from them or anyone, again
