Get the riser. The included flat mount is very low and tough to use alone, never mind trying to co-witness.

Keep in mind their QD mount isn't so QD. To keep it from sliding, I had to tighten its bolt so much the QD lever won't flip.

All that being said, I really like it. Totally worth the $129 with riser and shipping.

The PA scope is good for the money but the QD mount has issues as the other poster stated.
On my PA micro that I have on a AR after 600 rds I discovered the mounting screws holding it to the base was loose and lost zero cuz of that. Has held since after putting lock tite on screws.
Im going to get a differant QD mount later.

I was able to get one. I should have bought 2 so I could give one to my brother.

Received mine today, the PA QD mount works great so I dunno if they modified the design but it locks up solid and the QD lever works fine.

How does it compare to the Primary Arms 30mm Red Dot??

the 30mm red dot is an aimpoint M3 clone, the microdot is an H1/T1 clone.

Although I have an PA rd that works very well. I'm selling it as we speak, I want an aimpoint. Just 'cause.

Broke it in today, base zero off the iron sights, one group, 6 clicks, 2nd group and it was dead on. The riser held fine and the sight still works hehe. For $126.44 delivered pretty tough to beat.
