Better deal in that it's cheaper, but it's not the "same".

Yeah, no problem. I believe in essence they are the same, except the ACT is NiB coated.

Yep the Mil Spec and Defense Trigger definitely not the same Trigger. Gisselle use different materials and the Mil Spec is their version of a standard AR Mil Spec trigger.

Gisselle in his own words around the 29 min mark:

Both are great for any build

BTW placed an order since this tend to sell out pretty quickly.

When you factor in shipping, this is a better deal:

QMS trigger is a great and cost effective upgrade. In one review I read the author preferred the QMS over the ACT. Now that's his personal preference, I have never tried the ACT, but over a standard LPK battle trigger, the QMS is superior, no doubt about it.

Oh and ar15sport.com has had the ALG QMS triggers in stock during the entire panic for $45. They have a standard shipping rate upon checkout, but if you just order the QMS it only cost me $5 shipped to San Diego. So, they actually have the best deal. They are small and family owned and have excellent customer service.

I actually have the QMS paired with the JP Enterprise trigger spring and Mil Spec sear spring. I used to use the JP sear spring but had one misfire every 40-50 shots. I am very happy with my results with my set up

I have a QMS in one of my rifles and it's a nice crisp trigger compared to any other trigger in a typical LPK.
