I was there last week and they had a pallet of .223. Good to see ammo coming in. Hopefully, the prices will come down somemore soon. Great guys and if you need ammo not a bad place to go.

Shooting shack in Elk Grove has some as well. $.75/round for 500 round = $375

Not saying they are deals...just looking out for fellow calgunners

River city has never been good for customer service. They make you stand around and wait, the place is a madhouse in the middle of a bad neighborhood.

They don't get anymore of my business. Its great they have ammo in stock...

agreed. I stopped going to river city after the assault weapon ban in 2000. they are horrific.

Ive always had great service with RCGE. Just need to be ready when they come to you. They will spend time with you if your serious.

I have no problem being in a gun shop in a bad neighborhood.

River city is awesome. Good to see they have ammo in stock. They just need a larger store.

It was actually kind of slow. Posted the original post while in the store. One guy was asking to help people because he had nothing to do.

It is slow to get help there but unless you are tire kicking, just get in line. Not the type of place to go if you want to spend an hour touching everything. Its a cut the crap buy a gun when they get to you type of store.
