Yea I was pretty happy, I was gonna by some extra extractors but since they are almost 20 it made sense to just spend an extra 20 and get a spare bolt.

Anyone have any experience with the DPMS bolt... Looking for a backup bolt only for my 6920 and Spikes ARs... I know it's not the best, but right now with things the way they are I just wan't two so I can keep a firing pin and bolt in both of my grip cores. Then once say BCM comes back around, Ill buy a BCM bolt..

DPMS bolts are Carpenter 158.

They batch test the bolts
For 44 bucks. Can't complain. Its a good bolt.
Lots of companies sell DPMS bolts in their BCG. Same goes for DPMS carriers.

Funny fact, I ordered from Brownells and MidwayUSA on the same day (Wednesday), I had Brownells ship to myself in Cali which is roughly 1750 miles, I had Midway ship to a town 15 miles away from their location. It takes Midway a day longer to ship 15 miles than Brownells to ship 1750 miles.

MidwayUSA has really messed up their whole shipping process.

Only certain items can be shipped USPS Priority, but they won't tell you those are.

Adding one small item to an order can cause the shipping charges to double, or more and prevent the use of certain shipping options.

They get the packages out quickly to the slowest shipper in the industry (UPS).

I'd really rather use FedEx or USPS, since both deliver on Saturdays and UPS doesn't.

Ordered the 5.56mm DPMS bolt on Thursday when this was posted and have already received it today via USPS. Pretty damn fast!
