Could they scale their server environment to meet the number of people hitting it all at once? Sure, with extra cash. They already sell out of everything good within minutes at decent prices. If you REALLY want their site not to time out, offer to pay them more for each purchase to help with the upgrades or stop posting the deal here and to other sites and then complain they couldn't handle the traffic. If you sent 1,000 people to your local gunstore at the same time, you'd overwhelm them too.Comment

Weird, my checkout would just sit there and my icon would spin, so I never thought it completed the order but just checked my creditcard transactions and they charged me, hopefully I get it.Comment

PSA is making money hand over fist. They may not be overcharging (much), but EVERY gun shop out there is moving product as fast as they can get it in. LGS owners interviewed recently talked about sales spiking 400% LAST YEAR after the election, and couldn't even estimate how much more they spiked after Sandy Hook. So they are not hurting for cash in this economy... and it wouldn't cost that much to deliver web services that can scale as needed, which they clearly need.Comment

How much money they make after the election isn't relevant as they're not riping customers off.
And while they may have made 400% over a year before, if a ban goes into place (whether state or federal) they'd suddenly be out of business or take a huge bath after investing to scale in an uncertain economy on their part.
Be happy they're good guys offering quality products and go out of their way to help those of us who live in CA.
If you're pissed, be pissed at gun fearing politicians, not a good arms manufacturer and distributor.Comment
