How much cost/value does the Centurion Arms 12" rail kit add to this? I've been hoping to get the one with no rails at all so I can add my own stuff (I prefer magpul hardware) but it's been a long time waiting on that one to become available now... should I just bite the bullet and spend the extra on this version?

(Price diff between the two appears to be about $250... 529 for the naked upper group vs. $772 for this one. I could live with $100 or so, but $250 is tough to swallow.)

The 16" standard upper w/o handguard was in stock on Thursday the 28th. Had option to add bCg and CH.

Also was in stock on Thursday the 21st. No BCG and CH option at that time (which is when I ordered)

The upper currently available has the "standard" (not BFH) barrel.

So it's $459 vs. $772, a $313 difference.

So you bought the Hammer Forged version, or bought it off the marketplace?

BCM hasn't changed the prices except the NRA contribution on the BCG.
