Slightly more, but I really like shooting the X-TAC rounds. The regular bronze PMC are good to, but I notice a difference when shooting at AR500 steel plates with the X-TAC rounds (the plates fly around on the dualing tree where the bronze PMC were almost bouncing off the plates)


I just hope I got my order in early before they went on back order, just like with the bronze PMC ammo.

I stopped by Discount Gun Mart on Morena today, just to see how busy it was. Not as crazy as I expected, maybe 6 people in line. They had PMC Bronze in a 820 round ammo can for $650!

X-tac is PMC's 5.56mm NATO spec stuff.

The 55gr equates to M193 and the 62gr equates to M855.

The 55gr is standard FMJ, lead core rounds. The 62gr is the mild steel penetrator cored stuff so not usually allowed at most ranges or when shooting steel.


I received shipping notification of my half-case today with a 01/02/13 delivery date. Again not the best deal comparatively but not jacked up either like a lot are lately.
